Project Mc2 Toy Light Pixel Purse Review

Lexie has recently found Mc2 on Netflix and a few of the dolls have been added to her birthday list for April. Lexie loves to be creative so she was absolutely thrilled when she came home from school to find this waiting for her. Project Mc2 is a team of super-smart and seriously cool girls who use their love of science and their spy skills as they go on missions for secret organization, NOV8 (that's “innovate”!). They're real girls with real skills ready to take on anything.

So the Pixel Purse comes pre-programmed with over 10 animations, which light up on the front with a multi colour LED display.

You download the free app to design and creative your own styles. You simply plug you phone in to the Purse and download it on to the Purse. It’s pretty easy to do and Lexie absolutely loved designing her display and changing all the different pictures around on her Purse.

The purse is more of a display piece or a show shopper item. The bag itself looks like a bag but doesn’t fit to much inside. I actually thought the bag would be a soft material with the display at the front so it’s hard plastic all the way around. It fits a phone, lip balm and a few little bits inside. The design is very detailed and has all the zip detail like a normal bag. To open inside you pull the zip which opens in the middle.

We loved the phone holder inside with stops the phone banging around. Plus it has a cool clip on the side which is great for keys or a Pom Pom keyring.

Girls will love this S.T.E.A.M playset that encourages learning through play. Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in a fun and unique way.

Beurer FT-90 Non-Contact Clinical Thermometer Review

I hate it when the children are poorly, not only do you have to keep on eye on their temperatures every few hours. You also have to keep an eye on medication and any symptoms that’s arise. I always find its time to take their temperature when they are having a little nap. I’ve tried the under arm, ear and head thermometer and they all can be very fiddly when you have an unwell child.

I was very interested when we received the Beurer Non-Contact Thermometer From Maplin to try out.

So the thermometer was very simple and very easy to use. It comes with batteries included inside. It measures the temperature without any skin contact at all. You press scan and you will hear a beep and aim it a few inches from the forehead, you hear another beep then the temperature appears on the front. You can read the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. It has a fever alarm, alongside a happy or sad face telling you if the temperature is correct or not.

The thermometer comes in a plastic carrycase for on the go.

Perfect to use for babies right up to adults.

RRP £49.99 but is on sale at £44.99.

Easy As 1, 2, 3 With One 4 All Gift Card..

I was set a challenge by One4all  before Christmas see my previous post here and here  on what the challenge was and how I spent the One4all card.

I’ve never really had a prepaid gift card before that I could use online and in stores so easy.

Using the card online was really easy once I figured out you just add it in to the credit card section like you would your bank card. It’s really easy to do, plus you can check your balance on the One4all site at anytime.

I managed to use the card in a few shops in town, after looking on the site which shops I could use it in. It was really easy just literally just swipe and sign. Again you can check the balance as you are going along.

I definitely like the flexibility of the card of using it online and in stores. It’s much easier than carrying cash around with you. I really despise having to carry cash around with me.

A big thumbs up from me and it’s definitely something that I will think about in future on purchasing, it’s just so quick and easy for your shopping needs.

What I Got For Christmas.

The last few years I’ve always done a what I got for Christmas post. This year I’ve found it very hard to think of things when people ask. As you get older you generally just buy the things you need or want.

2018 is the year that we move from our two bedroom flat to a three bedroom house. I sort of have colour schemes in mind but I didn’t what to ask for things incase I changed my mind.

I’ve stopped buying Lush every month, it’s not that I don’t like it anymore. It just gets so costly as both kids end up having a bath bomb or two each. Plus I’m trying atm not to make any purchases I can actually live without.  So I as really excited to receive some lovely new bath bombs. I also received a lovely Soap & Glory Set with lots of minis inside.

Avobath bath bomb
Christmas sweater bath bomb
Never mind the ballistics bath bomb
Snow fairy jelly bomb
Ectoplasm jelly bomb
Sweet Christmas gift set :
Candy mountain bubble bar
Think pink bath bomb

Two new books, 2018 is definitely going to be the year i pick up doing more reading. I think this year I’ve only read about 7 books, which works out not even a book a month. Stephen Kings IT and The Handmaids Tale.

Unicorn melting Candle. I’ve nearly bought this myself a few times. I’m not sure if I really want to light it or just use it as decoration. When you burn it melts lots of different colours and looks so pretty.

Mirror & Jewellery stand. One thing i have never had was a full length mirror, I really wanted one for my new room and this doubles up as a Jewellery stand too. I rarely wear my necklaces and I forget about them hidden away. So I can’t wait to set this up when we move.

Pauls Boutique Orange Purse. I always have been a massive fan of PB purses, so this one caught my eye, I definitely don’t think I will loose it any time soon with it being so bright.

My favourite gift has to be my salt lamp, I’m so happy with it. I wanted a soft lamp for my new room so I really can’t wait to set this all up, as it looks super pretty.

D&G is my favourite perfume and I’ve been run out for the past 6 months. I’ve been trying to use up all my other perfumes before I move and I’m down to my last mini now. So I’ve done rather well.

Tool box, this will come in handy when I move. Plus the only tools I own is a screwdriver. So it has a lot of handy bits.

I got a lovely fudge/biscuit hamper, a Christmas pudding and some cocktail baubles.
