Looking for something to do in the Easter holidays?

Looking for something to do this week, the Easter bunny springs in to action all around the National trust this Easter. He is set to deliver 362,592 chocolate bunnies to 271 National Trust places around the country. The Easter Bunny makes first stop at Stourhead to kick off the National Trust’s nationwide Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts

The Easter Bunny has kicked off his 2016 schedule in style, with the National Trust unveiling a show-stopping giant topiary bunny at Stourhead, in Wiltshire.

The topiary bunny has been created to celebrate the ninth year of the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts. The hunts will be taking place at 271 National Trust locations over the Easter weekend (25-28 March). Families are invited to unleash their inner explorer at these adventurous hunts taking place across the country.

Stourhead, known to many as the location of the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice, played host to the Cadbury Easter Bunny’s first destination this year, as he begins his nationwide tour to generate excitement ahead of the upcoming Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The iconic gardens and Palladian mansion, given to the conservation charity in 1946, is just one of the locations providing a beautiful backdrop for an Easter day out. An impressive 271 Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts are set to take families on adventures in and around National Trust places across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, marking the ninth year of the Trust’s partnership with the iconic chocolate-makers.

At a towering height of 8ft, the frame of the impressive topiary bunny, celebrating the Cadbury Easter Bunny’s visit, took a whopping three days to create. If laid flat, the length of the steel wire used for this creation would be that of two football pitches! His accompanying 4ft friends used the combined talents of a team of four over a five day period, using enough wire to cover the length of a further five football pitches in the process.

Hoping to delight children and families alike this Bank Holiday Weekend, the smaller topiary bunnies will be on display at Wimpole, Stowe, Killerton, Castle Ward, Fountains Abbey, Hardwick Hall and Tredegar House

The Easter bunny has been very busy indeed, delivering an impressive 362,592 Cadbury Dairy Milk Bunnies around the UK.

Visitors to National Trust places across the Easter holiday weekend will be able to take part in special Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts, with every child receiving a Cadbury chocolate treat for getting involved.

Laura Appleby, Senior PR Officer at the National Trust, said: “The Easter Bunny certainly has been busy this year, with Stourhead the first of many stops across the country.
“We are thrilled to partner with Cadbury to offer families the chance to celebrate Easter together, take on an Easter Egg Hunt and explore some of the special places cared for by
the Trust. Visits over the Easter period are so important to us, as they will help enable our continued conservation work.”

Martin Clements, Engagement & Interpretation Officer at Stourhead, added: “We’re really excited that the Easter Bunny started off his journey at Stourhead, and are thrilled to play home to his 8ft topiary replica in our gardens. We hope visitors and families participating in our Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts this weekend enjoy trying to spot our giant topiary bunny – he loves posing for the camera!”

With over 270,000 people getting involved in a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt last year, and over 3 million people welcomed to participating National Trust places over the Easter weekend, the charity is hoping for another great turnout.

My Dream Living Room

I will be so glad when we move and we have to redecorate the whole place again. I feel my tastes have really changed in the 7 years I have been living here. Everything seems so dark and clustered and we didn't really prepare for the full extent of children. Drawing on the walls and cream carpets eeepp! Now that the children are older, I would love the living room to be really simple, bright and not clustered.

I love this bold and bright black and white wallpaper from Graham & Brown
A contemporary classic, this curvy ogee is subtly enhanced with a touch of glitter and a gorgeous twist of mica.

Check out this huge Westbrook recliner sofa from FishpoolsDesigned to offer a variety of adaptable sitting positions to accommodate every preference, its integrated headrests and padded arms provide extra support. Adjustable with a manual recliner, it is available in a wide range of high quality leathers. Perfect for movie nights and the whole family to get comfy.

I love this bird wall art from Laura Ashley, it's a bold statement piece.

This TV Miami stand is fantastic for storing the TV, Bluray player and the Wii U on.

To finish the room off with accessories this glamour 5 light floor lamp from Next is really stunning.

Lexie's Weekend Tot Style

Trendy Tot Thursday and Weekend Mini Style with Sarah at This Mama Life have joined forces to bring Weekend Tot Style! I've been so slack will this lately but I've literally just brought a huge haul over the past few weeks as Lexie is really shooting up and having a huge growth spurt. So this is my opportunity to show them all off.
I popped in to Primark a few weeks ago, I've not shopped there for over a year now as the one in Birmingham always looks like a jumble sale. It didn't look two busy so I popped in and came out with two bags and £75 lighter - whoops! I got a huge amount for what I paid and if the kids grow out of them fast then at least I've not forked out a huge fortune.
I asked Lexie to pick her favourite item from the bag and she chose this cat summer dress, the quality seems pretty decent and it was only £2.50. Even if she only wears it a few times it's still a bargain.

The shoes are her favourite at the moment. Lexie calls them her Katie Perry shoes and she absolutely loves them. They was from Claire's Unique Creations . We actually have a matching pair!

The Chocolate fan in me, loves Hotel Chocolat I love the seasonal collections and they never disappoint with great quality chocolate. The scrambled egg, come win three flavours milk, dark & caramel chocolate.

We received a very delicious caramel hollow egg, it is made up of caramel which is painted with different colour drizzles. It really gives it a lovely effect, so much better than a plain one colour egg.

It comes showcased in a beautiful foiled box with six Scrambled Pralines there super-smooth signature praline recipe sealed in caramel chocolate.

Lush Cosmetics - I always look forward to the different seasonal events. Lush always do a different range of products for them. I'm a massive fan of Lush and I can't help to go and grab a few that take my fancy.

Fluffy Pink Egg - Shocking hot pink colour shaped in an Easter egg design. With a bright pink flower. It's the perfect present for someone who really in to chocolate this Easter. With the scent being their popular Snow Fairy, which normally is only available at Christmas. This bath bomb is sure to be a winner.

Golden Egg - I'm not totally sure if this is a bomb or a melt. Seriously this is the one if you have a glitter fan in the house. I'm holding out on using this one as I know the bath is going to be covered.  Toffee-scented with glittering gold and packed full of fair trade cocoa butter, it smells divine.

Origami Bunny Necklace from John Greed Jewellery - I love this design, I think the design and shape of the pendent is stunning. It's so different and unique. Plus it would be a great long lasting present for years to come.

Cotton Tail Dispenser from Truffleshuffle is definitely a dressing table essential, look how adorable it is. perfect for a make up or nail polish fan.

Eggs Everywhere

For the past 24-hours visitors to the famous Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands have been astounded by the appearance of another large shape in the water. The silhouette, with three distinct humps, is reminiscent of photographs purported to show The Loch Ness Monster and has been seen slowly rising out of the water...

Local Loch Ness expert, Nessie hunter and marine biologist Adrian Shine commented at the Loch today. Adrian is also the proud leader of the Loch Ness & Morar Project* and Loch Ness Exhibition Centre. He has been engaged in fieldwork in the Highlands since 1973 and has seen just about everything on these waters. Apart from this!

Adrian said, “It was an amazing sight today and it's been a special experience to see something so magical come out of the Loch. Hopefully this will stimulate more interest in this majestic area and conservation of it for wildlife and any beasties that might be down there.” However, it was confirmed today that the shapes aren’t Nessie, but rather three enormous Cadbury Easter Eggs, each roughly the height of a double-decker bus, rising from the water on a floating barge: A spectacular feat of engineering.

We can only speculate that the Easter Bunny has left these three massive Easter eggs for her friend, Nessie, AKA The Loch Ness Monster,” said Claudia Miceli, Senior Brand Manager for Cadbury Easter. “We were very happy to be called out to investigate and have been inspired whilst here to donate both to the Loch Ness Project and to the local RNLI lifeguard service. Our Joy Team have left baskets of Cadbury goodies at hotels and B&Bs in the area for all the Nessie fans to enjoy.

The stunt forms part of a wider Cadbury Easter campaign that aims to make Cadbury synonymous with this seasonal time of year, whilst also building on its heritage in Easter egg hunts and its partnership of 15 years with The National Trust. As part of the campaign the brand has also launched a range of egg-cellent new products helping further cement Cadbury’s role in Easter.

Claudia Miceli: “For many years Cadbury has always been part of Easter in family homes and this year is no different. In our new advert the Easter bunny is a fluffy deliverer of joy who excites families around the country in the lead up to the Easter egg hunt weekend by playfully hiding eggs everywhere. By teasing the mystery of Loch Ness we're celebrating the playful magic of Easter time and Nessie herself"

Be on your look out though,” Claudia adds, “We have hidden more eggs in other parts of the country!” Sightings have been reported further afield than Loch Ness; The Easter Bunny has been very busy!

I received this utter stunning Radley watch from Chapelle Jewellery for Mother's Day.

I had my previous shaver about 11 years and it was falling apart, so I binned my old one and got this silk-epil one.

Smashbox mascara and primer samples from Sopost. Quite surprised these turned up as when I put my details in they said they was all gone. So lovely surprise.

Mothers Day With Chapelle Jewellery

I'm a huge fan of Jewellery and I think it makes a great gift for a number of occasions, who doesn't love a little pick me up with a new shiny but of jewellery.
Chapelle Jewellery  is a fantastic specialist Designer outlet jewellery business online and they also have 23 stores up and down the Country.

I've going to share my top items from Chapelle Jewellery that have really caught my eye. The first item is this stunning 9ct gold pink sapphire and diamond crossover ring. I love the shape of crossover style mixed with the warm pink. It's so pretty.

Chapelle have a huge range of ladies designer watches to choose from online. I generally wear my Fitbit when I'm at work or around the house, but it doesn't look to great if I'm off out for a meal or a special occasion. I'm a Radley jewellery fan and a couple of their watches caught my eye. This gold plated bracelet watch I thought was really classy and feminine.

A timeless piece that would go with a lot of different outfits. I love the gold tone and the plain detailing with the links going down in size around the wrist with the simple watch face.

The watch is very light to wear and so comfortable, it's hardly feels I've you have a watch on. It comes in a lovely presentation box, so it's an ideal gift for someone special.

My style of earrings have massively changed, I used to wear huge gold hoops, the bigger the better when I was younger. I tend to go for small and dainty earrings now, simple but effective. I adore these sterling silver bow earrings. They are simple, one colour without any bling. Just small and pretty.

My bracelets are nothing like my earring choice, the bolder the better. I love colour and uniqueness from a bracelet. I think a nice eye catching bracelet can really set an outfit off and you can use one to dress up or down or even just to cheer up an outfit. If I had to pick only one piece of jewellery to wear forever it would definitely be a bracelet. Hot Diamonds is a brand I've heard of but never really looked in to before. I have totally fell in love with this " by the shore" snake chain, the discs are set in silver and gold tones and I love the chunky effect they give off when bunched together. The bracelet comes with a genuine diamond for that bit of bling.
