A few months ago Cosmopolitan released they was bringing out a new Cosmopolitan Debut Perfume. I'm actually really shocked a perfume hasn't been brought out sooner from Cosmopolitan, it such a huge brand with a massive following.
Cosmopolitan is the go to guide for young women forging careers, developing their individual style and finding their place in life. With content designed to enlighten, entertain and inspire at the heart of the magazines pages lies a very clear message : believe in yourself and live the life you want. Now the fun, fearless sprit that defines Cosmopolitan is available in fragrance form.
I was a bit worried it may be a bit to young fragrance for me. I love to try all different types of fragrances from supermarket brands to designers. I like a whole range of different scents and styles, I do have a couple of perfumes that I do always buy but I like to keep a mix of what I use.
Top notes include mandarin, bergamot and red berries. Then comes the surprising seductive heart hypnotic night- blooming jasmine and the powdery sweetness of heliotrope. Pimento berries give it a rich shot of spice, while carrot seed offers something earthy and unexpected. The base lingers on your skin long after you have sprayed with powerful patchouli, comforting vanilla and the tobacco like qualities of tonka.
The scent itself is really uplifting the warm and sweet notes really complement each other, I wouldn't say it's just for the younger generation and that it would suit all ages ranges to wear. I love the simple ombré bottle of pink and orange with the crystal lid. The other packet is also quite minimal with a plain white box, pink Cosmopolitan logo and the orange and pink bow on top.
The bottle comes in three bottles 30ml ( £20) - 50ml ( £28) & 100ml (£38) and is available exclusively at boots from the 7th September.
