I totally missed last weeks, I wasn't feeling too great and just didn't manage to fit it in. This week is a bit of a special post. This Saturday is my son's 1st Holy Communion, which is a special day for him. I'm not religious at all, it's not that I don't believe in God or things it's just its all still quite new to me. It's nice to learn and be on this journey with my son and for us to share it. I'm so proud of him and it's going to be such a great day for him.
He didn't want to wear a full suit so we have gone for plain back trousers from Asda, which was £4. They are just basic school trousers with a zip, button and elastic waist.
Also a plain simple shirt from Asda which was £3.80. Again just basic school shirt from there. We are quite lucky as he currently wears polo shirts for school, so it's slightly different than wearing his uniform.
The tie is a present from his school, the boys got a tie and the girls got a bracelet.
Lexie's dress she will be wearing is from a friend on my Facebook who made this a while back and Lexie has worn it quite a few times now. It's beautifully made and I love the pattern on it. It's really unique with a huge bow on the back.
