What I Got For Christmas

I never expect to get a lot for Christmas, the kids come first and I know it can be a strain on people to buy so many presents at Christmas. After all it's about spending family time and making memories for me. This year I was totally spoilt.

My other half got me an iPad Air 2 this year, I didn't get anything for my birthday as he was out of work. So he made up for it with this present. I use my iPad for blog work, answering emails and entering competitions so it's something I use daily.

Next I got a slow cooker from my mom I can't wait to start to use it I've wanted one for ages.

My sister got me a lovely zebra Colleen Rooney bed set which is fab I normally have pink/black and white so this fits in perfect. I also got a lovely MarcB purse too.

Sweets and chocolates always go down well and I got these delights this year.

Pops I got for Christmas was a 9" buzz Lightyear, Funko game of thrones bundle with a top, keyring and pop. I also got £10 off the OH's mom which I bought leather-face with.

I also got a little mermaid glass from the other half.

Baylis and Harding sets, it's my favorite brand so I love getting these sets.

Soap and glory nail set with two nail polish.

Two bath bombs

Lush set with two bubble bars and bath bombs.

Montagne Jeunesse pack with 10 packs, two bath bombs, a puff and a wicker basket.

Christmas In Nutshell

I won't lie Christmas is pretty exhausting. My Christmas starts on Christmas Eve where my mom and nan come over with have a bit of a buffet and the kids open the presents from them. We have done this since the kids are small, both my nan and mom enjoy watching the kids open them and to be total honest it helps spread them opening a huge pile on Christmas Day. The kids are then bathed, Christmas Eve bags are given out so they can put on the new pjs. We watch a movie together with popcorn and hot chocolate. A mince pie, the magic key and a carrot are left out. Stockings are filled and presents are left out.

Christmas morning started at 7am for us where my daughter came running in my bedroom ( nearly taking the door off the hinges) to shout that Santa had been. Normally we go to my OH moms for dinner, but this year. The first time ever since we have been together! Kids was super happy with all the presents went down a treat.

Boxing Day with spend with my dad and sister, where we do the whole presents and dinner again! Yum :-)

Christmas makes me think how lucky I am to be able to spend the Christmas period with my family. How we all join together for a fabulous few days. Being a parent is truly magical at Christmas. I'm going to be really sad when the kids grow up and that magical spark will fade.

I want to take this chance to say Merry Christmas to all my readers I hope you had an amazing time.

George At Adsa Wooden Dolls House Review

Nothing beats a gorgeous wooden dolls house. I remember having one when I was younger and  I loved it more than anything. Lexie recently feel in love with the one at nursery so we was delighted when Asda sent us one to review from there George collection. They have a massive wooden range, perfect for a few last minute gifts for little ones too.

The house itself was pretty easy to put together each piece is labelled and they all slotted in to each one apart the the roof you have to screw on. I managed to do it on my own and it took me from start to finish around 30 minutes to do. I did take all the pieces out the box and laid them flat first, so with that 35 minutes in total.

The dolls house has three floors, bottom floor with two rooms, middle floor with two rooms and the attic.

All the floors are connected with a staircase so you can move things up and down.

The design is very girly and pink and is beautiful butterfly theme with plants and detail on the front and sides.

The windows and doors are all shutters and open and close for that special effect.

The house itself is pretty sturdy and is quite big in size, a traditional feel but a timeless piece and to make any little girls dreams. There is plenty of room for lots of furniture and dolls for playing in. No furniture is included in the set its sold separate.
Lexie has been obsessed with the dolls house and plays with it for hours on her own which has been great for her imagination and role play. The whole make believe has been nice to watch her play.

Jackson Reece Wipes Review.

Both of my kids still use wipes for the bathroom I just find them easier and cleaner for them to use. Also wipes still really handy for everyday use.

Jackson Reece is husband and wife duo Colin and Janet set the company making wipes from the kitchen table up after finding nothing on the market that could help their baby who had severe eczema. The company has grown steadily selling in supermarkets and has recently launched their wipes with BOOTS marking an important 'step up' for the business.

The are not only all natural (down to the highly filtered water used in production) but were the first baby wipes to be 100% degradable (they are compostable and made from chlorine free cloth), are suitable for vegans and are manufactured in the UK.

We received a pack of the unscented wipes and herbal wipes to test out. The wipes themselves are pretty thick and of a good size there is nothing worse than a thin tiny wipe. I love how these wipes are eco friendly, it's something lately I have been looking at and trying to be a more eco friendly home. I love how they are all natural and great for faces and bums! More than 99% naturally derived ingredients from renewable vegetable or plant extracts. There isn't really a scent with both packs of the wipes, I couldn't tell the unscented and the herbal wipes apart. The wipes contain no nasty chemicals, alcohol or parabens. 100% unscented, fragrance and perfume free.

Also in the range is saline nose nuzzles (just clear kids noses like magic with no soreness!) and the 'mucky mitts' natural hand sanitiser.

RRP £2.00 per pack.
