Mr Tumble’s Big Book of Counting Review

My daughter is a huge fan of Mr tumble so we was super excited when we was asked to review Mr Tumbles big book of counting from Egmont. Learn to count from 1 to 5 with Mr Tumble and his friends fishman tumble, baker tumble, grandad tumble and aunt Polly.

The book is a good size so perfect for little hands. The lift up flaps are huge and they revel lots of different things to count including Mr Tumble's friends, cakes, balloons and even a pair of pants! Hehe

There's an opportunity for children to trace over the big bold numbers with their fingers as well as joining in with the counting out loud. Lexie loved tracing her fingers over the numbers and counting all the items on the page.

With each page dedicated to one number, the pages are simple and bright - perfect for those just beginning to have fun with numbers. Lexie's brother was able to read the story too her and they both counted along and shouted out who was under the flaps helping Mr tumble to count.

RRP is £7.99

This week I tested one out  the sparkly Edinburgh gate along with nails inc bond street gel. The gel is amazing I love the shine finish. The square bottle is pretty cool too. Edinburgh gate has red, blue, silver, gold and green glitter tones in it. Its very pretty. For an overall finish you do need a couple of coats with both polishes.

SeaFood Bluray Review

SeaFood Bluray

So the film is following two sharks called Pup and Julius that embark on a fun-filled adventure to a place filled with colourful characters and marvellous mystery! When poachers steal dozens of egg sacks from Pup’s reef, he makes it his duty to rescue his brothers and sisters. His mission becomes more difficult when he realises that he must venture above water and tackle a landscape filled with both beauty and danger.

Afraid for Pup’s safety, his best friend Julius follows him, attempting to bring him home. Wearing an amazing ‘fish-suit’ which allows him to walk on land, Julius will also discover that sharks may not be the most frightening creatures in the world… The kids loved this it reminded me a bit of shark tale. There was loads of undersea creatures which was good to point out. It a very bright and engaging film. Raiden loved the fighting ninja chickens & the white shark inside a sub-suit robot running about on land.

Nails Inc Sprinkles " Sweets Way " Swatch

I've been very slack on my nail posts, I haven't done any for a long time. Last week I was wearing the very lush nails inc sweets way sprinkles. Its a pretty unique nail polish you need a good couple of coats for the effect but its lovely when on. It does remind me of the ice cream sprinkles you get, very refreshing colour.

Slimpod Star

Sometimes its nice to look back and reflect now what you have achieved in a short space of time. When daily life is getting on top of you its hard to take note of the physical and mental changes that are happening. I look back at this time last year and think how unhappy I was, how shell like I had become. How my life was affecting my children and to me it was all locked up tight. Never in my dreams would I think now in 2014 how I would be three sizes smaller, very happy and slowly getting back to loving life. I've talked about my slimpod journey a few times and I'm still amazed it works and how its worked for me.

Earlier in the year I wrote my slimpod story it was quite great to get it all out and show people how far I had come. The story was for the yearly slimpod star, which is to find  someone that has battled along with there weight and had a positive outcome. I was surprised to find out just before Christmas that i had made it as a Slimpod star.

January 2nd I was whisked away to London for a star studded experience with Debenhams  where I was transformed with my hair done by the lovely ladies at the Regis salon. My make up done with the ladies down at the benefit counter. I had my own personal shopper which was amazing talented as she picked some gorgeous items out for me which I never probably would of even look at In my wildest dreams. My shopping for myself has been pretty limited as I've always gone for the basic things I need, covering up with hoodies and baggy trousers which was most likely making me look ten times bigger. I'm slowly buying more slim fit and brighter colours that are finding there way In to my wardrobe.

The next part of the day was to have my photo taken, this for me is something I avoid normally at all costs. I hate having my photo taken which makes me awful sad. I have limited of me and the kids when they was smaller as I just hated the camera and what I looked like.

So nine months in to I and I'm now halfway though my journey I hope by the summer I'm more confident and a slinky size 14.

A Postive Start To 2014

Eeekkkk I did something yesterday that I wouldn't of done this time last year because of my confidence. I was always wondering what people was thinking of me and turned in to any empty shell. I wouldn't go out as I was so paranoid about people talking about me behind my back. My social life suffered just because i had put i had put on so much weight.

Yesterday I travelled from Birmingham to London, met two people who I didn't know, ate lunch in front of them. Had my make up done in the middle of a busy superstore. Tried on clothes it wouldn't normally pick up and had picture taken. I did this all on my own as me and not in mummy mode...eeeepppppp.

It's taken me a lot to get up and do this and break my confidence barriers. So 2014 looks like a brand new me.

Kids Bee Happy Sand Art Review

We was thrilled to be sent an art a few days before Christmas. We haven't done many sandart activites so it was nice to be able to do something different with the kids on one raining cold morning.

Sandart is the all new Arts and Craft activity for everyone.  Boys or Girls, Old or Young, everyone will enjoy that fun of making and creating fabulous sand art pictures to keep with Kids Bee Happy Sand Art  Great for Birthday presents, ideal for rainy day fun.

Each pack comes with pictures printed on good quality cardboard, that have peel off sections to create your picture. which have sticky glue so its less messy and sticks very easy to the sand.

There is a big selection of different packs to choose from on there website.

The packs comes with 10 different coloured sands and a spreader to move the sand over in to different selections. They come with plastic sleeves so the picture can be treasured forever.

The kids loved making a picture with different colour sand, its a great sensory experience. Which also is great for learning colours too as they are creating there masterpiece. Defiantly a great hit with the kids. My two year old daughter did the panda the my six year old did the Santa.
