November Degustabox

I've been so excited to get this months box. I always enjoy the surprise boxes which are a mixture of different and great things. From drinks, cupboard items, meal kits and kitchen staples. I liked how most of the products I received I generally wouldn't of picked up myself. This so what is great with the Degustabox trying new things.

The Holy Cow Curry Sauces

The holy cow brand isn't something I'm familiar with. I was a little disappointed that we have had another curry item. Don't get me wrong we love curry and its something we loved trying. Holy Cow produce a range of the finest Sauces, Dips, Frozen Curries, Ambient Curry Sauces and Street Food. They sell a range of table sauces and curry sauces for the retail market in the UK. These are sold in supermarkets and retail shops nationally.

The curry sauces come in the following flavours - Tikka Masala, Mughalai Korma, Roganjosh, Mangalore Malabar, Goan prawn & Madas Chattinad. So there is a wide range of sauces to cater for everyone's pallet.

We received two of the packet sauces, Mughalai Korma & Madas Chattinad. The Madas Chattinad is a great blend of different spices. You cook your meat, add the sauce with 59ml of wear then cook for around 7-10 minutes. Quick and easy meal and it tastes delicious.

RRP - £1.69 each

Kent's Kitchen Stir in Flavour Shots

These come in BBQ, Hot & Spicy, Thai Green, Garlic & Coriander & Fajita. We received the BBQ shots to try.

Kent’s Kitchen was started after we spotted a gap in the food market and wanted to create a way for people from busy professionals to time-poor family cooks, foodies to novices to eat delicious, authentic food without the stress of long shopping lists, prep time and complicated cooking. The meal kits were the driving force behind getting the company started but along the way other tasty, time-saving products were added to enhance meals quickly and easily.

We received a curry meal kit in the last box and we really enjoyed that so we was happy to receive a different item. Both my children love chicken, but they like it plain. So it can get a bit boring for me. The Stir in shots are easy to use, cook part the chicken, add the flavour shot until the meat is covered. Perfect and super fast meal without the fuss.

RRP - £1.85

Montano Cider

Montano is an elegantly crafted Italian cider made with apples only grown in the Alpine Valleys of the Trentino region, nestling in the foothills of the Dolomites. These orchards are some of the highest in Europe enjoying fresh mountain air and over 300 days of sunshine every year. Only the finest handpicked apples are selected to deliver this deliciously refreshing, crisp cider.

This was my favourite item in the whole box. I am a cider drinker but I normally go for the bottled flavoured types. I don't like the harsh taste of normal cider, so that's why i enjoy the flavoured types. The Montano Cider was so light and refreshing, it took me by surprise.

RRP - £2.79

Pip Organic Cloudy Apple Juice

At PIP they have been working with organic farmers for many years to ensure they choose the best fruit varieties, just at the right time, so that all of their juices are blended to perfection. They like to keep thing's simple so that everyone can enjoy the juicy taste of organic fruit the way it should be.

Raiden is a massive apple juice fan and he enjoyed the cloudy apple juice along with his breakfast in the morning. Its a tad pricey for per bottle, but it might work out better getting the bigger bottles to last longer.

RRP £1.50

Recovery Drinks From Cool Dawn

Cool Dawn is a unique formula developed throughout 20 years of research that helps people to recover after a night out so that they are fresher and ready for the challenges of the day ahead. A healthy drink made with premium ingredients, not carbonated that has no stimulants. They recommend to have one can at the end of the night and another one the morning after if still needed.

I actually thought at first these was energy drink until I read they was a cure for hangovers. The drinks are a unique taste, but it they work and cure a hangover its money well spent.

RRP  £1.49

Branston Caramelised Onion Chutney

Branston is a British food brand. It is best known for the original Branston Pickle, a jarred pickled chutney first made in 1922 in the Branston suburb of Burton upon Trent by Crosse & Blackwell. I'm not. A huge chutney fan but the rich caramelised onion taste was really nice. We had it alongside some pomadoms with the holy cow curry and it was delicious.

RRP £1.50.

Kettle Chips

They always insist on using the best potatoes they can find, hand cook them with care in small batches, then season with simple great tasting combinations of ingredients. They never add anything artificial to any of the seasonings - no added MSG, artificial flavours or colours. And that's the way it's been for over 30 years.

We received the salsa & mesquite which has been brought back out due to a huge demand. I love the crunchy and taste of kettle crisps so these went down so well. I loved the tangy flavouring of the salsa.

RRP  £2.19

Lindor My Melting Moment

We received five of these in the box and Lindt is and will be one of my favourite brands I always find a box of Lindt in my stocking.

The LINDT’s Maîtres Chocolatiers, real masters of their craft, are always striving to offer you a chocolate that melts tenderly in your mouth and gently caresses all your senses.

I love the filling that just melts in your mouth. These are great little treats and I thought they was also a great price. I know my shop has them on offer for 2 for a £1 at the moment.

RRP 65p

Drink Me Chai's Spiced Chai Latte sample which I thought was very refreshing and relaxing. I love the spiced tones.
