The Hunger Games Catching Fire Book Review

If you read my blog last month you would of saw I had written about the hunger games book. If you didn't catch it last month you can read it HERE

It taken me a bit longer to read the catching fire book due to every time I get the book out I hear mommmmmmm or one of the kids wake up. It's been an omen haha. I took a trip to my friends last weekend and I was sat on a coach for 3.5 hours so I finally managed to finish it in peace! Hooray...

The second book is action packed Katniss and Peeta start the victory tour after winning the last hunger games. This year is the 75th anniversary of the hunger games which comes a huge twist. Katniss thinks she got away with the rebellion of the hunger games but has she?

Touring around the districts Katniss realises that their attempt to avert revolt in the districts has failed as a man is killed when he uses the same gesture that she did when she said goodbye to Rue. He is instantly killed to Katniss horror.

It is announced for the anniversary that 24 victors from previous years will be forced back in the the arena again for battle. Only thing on Katniss's mind is to make sure Peeta wins. They soon realise that the arena is rigged with a dome shaped force field and the area is timed clock which evil disasters on each section. They all team together to find a way of destroying the arena with directing the lighting to the force filed and blowing it up.

When Katniss wakes up she has been taken up on the helicopter, Gale appears and tells her District 12 has been destroyed and that her family just got in time.

All three books are a mere £7.99 from the works HERE.
