Alternative Easter Gifts.

I've rounded up a few Easter gifts that don't involve chocolate, sometimes the kids are bombarded with chocolate we end up melting them down into crispy cakes.

First up is a gorgeous book from top that publishing  - Hattie Peck

It a lovely story about little Hattie Peck who loved any type of eggs, big, small & speckled ones. All she dreamt was to have an egg all off her own. One day Hattie left her cosy coop on an adventure to find all the abandoned eggs of the world. And find them she did! But what will happen when they hatch? Hattie Peck is a heart-warming tale of triumph in the face of adversity and is a perfect bedtime story.

The kids both loved the story of Hattie Peck and her adventure to find all the abandoned eggs of the world. We loved the warm characters and the beautiful illustrations of the book.

Disney Products At Asda

Asda have an amazing range of Disney products available across toys, dining, books and DVDs, throughout Asda's Easter kids event. With massive discounts there is something special for your little one this Easter. Keep them entertained this Easter with one of there favourite Disney characters.

We got sent a little mermaid DVD and princess book. Anyone who knows me will know that Lexie's favourite princess is Ariel and she has watched the Little mermaid about 100 times. So she was thrilled to receive her own personal copy of the film. I remember when I was small and the same film captured me too.

Disney's twenty-eighth animated feature is its first fairytale since 1958's 'Sleeping Beauty'. Ariel is the mermaid daughter of King Triton, and lives beneath the waves. However, Ariel longs to see the world above, especially after rescuing a handsome prince from drowning. To this end she makes a deal with sea witch Ursula: Ariel can live above the sea in exchange for her beautiful singing voice. Ariel soon regrets her decision, however, when it transpires that her father's kingdom is at risk.
