AlexandAlexa are looking for creative bloggers for a fantastic spooky Halloween competition. To win loads of Halloween goodies. They are asking you to create a modern take on a traditional Jack O’Lantern, historically made from pumpkins, beets or turnips. Grab something juicy from your fruit bowl and use it to create a spooky fruit carving of your own to share on your blog. The entries will be judged by the creative team at AlexandAlexa and the winner will be notified via the contact details on their blog.
STEP ONE: Create your own spooky fruit creation to share on your blog
STEP TWO: Include a link to the competition page somewhere in the post
STEP THREE: Tweet your entry @AlexandAlexa #SpookyFruit or email your entry to email@example.com before midnight (GMT) 24th October 2013.
Raiden (6) didn't want to make one he made two, he had so much fun. He still wants to do a pumpkin but I thought this made a fab twist and it made a yummy fruit salad for pudding too! Yum.
First MrSpookySpikeyPants Raiden named him. He used a pineapple as the head, plums as eyes, grapes for the hair, a tomato as a nose, apple as a mouth and raisins as teeth.
MrsSmallVampireHead was next he used an apple as the face, raisins as eyes, pineapple as mouth and the pineapple leaves as hair!
Pretty spooky! Hey :-)
