Halloween Cupcakes



Got to admit, my favourite time of year is Halloween, so here is one of many Halloween posts coming up. Here is a cooking post that will keep the kids entertained.







Ingredients

250g (8oz) butter
250g (8oz) caster sugar
250g (8oz) self-raising flour
Pinch of salt
2 medium eggs
4 tablespoons milk
Rolled icing 
Icing sugar
Halloween Decorations
2 tsp of vanilla essence 


Method

Set the oven to Gas Mark 4. 

Add the sugar & butter mix then add flour, salt, eggs, vanilla and milk and whisk until the mixture is smooth. Divide the mixture between all the paper cases bake for around 15 minutes. 

For the mummy cakes, we decorated with plain white icing sugar then cut a circle from the rolled icing. Then cut in into pieces to look like a mummy then added two sweets for eyes.

The body part & pumpkin ones was just sprinkles and decorations, that we picked up from the poundshop :-)
